Mala Bead Workshop at lake Hartwell Yoga

Enjoy a fun workshop with your friends. During this workshop, you will be designing and creating a mala bead necklace. Mala beads have been used during Japa meditative practices to allow the student to stay focused on a mantra or prayer. Allowing a central focus to be kept allows for a desire or intention to ring true. 
 
Many different energy beads will be available to choose from as well as the color of the sandalwood beads. Choosing the beads is the hardest part of the class, but I promise, the beads choose you. These different beads will be a guide to allow you to harness the energy you desire.  
 
Each person will personalize their necklace by choosing their beads, colored silk, and tassel color.
 
After the creation of the mala necklace, we will cleanse the mala necklace and use it for a meditative practice.  The cost is $30 and includes all supplies needed to make your necklace, class instruction, and a meditative class.
