Hart Partners, Inc., Family Connection Collaborative is seeking a dynamic, mission-focused Executive Director to fill a hands-on leadership role which requires a comprehensive approach to directing all components of the organization's multi-faceted programs, working closely with the Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers in accordance with Georgia Family Connection, our lead state agency.
 
Hart Partners is a collaborative which works to improve conditions for children and families in our county as part of the Family Connection network.
 
The Executive Director will be responsible for planning, facilitating, coordinating and advancing the work addressing community-driven priorities identified by Hart Partners (HP) while preserving the integrity of the local Collaborative and the Georgia Family Connection (GaFCP) statewide network. 
 
Essential Responsibilities/Duties Include: Supervising and directing Hart Partners staff. Serving as a liaison between the Collaborative Board and the community, and between the Collaborative Board and GaFCP;  ensuring all Hart Partners fiscal agent policies and procedures are adhered to and are in compliance; create and manage annual operating budgets and contract expenditures; ensure policies, procedures, and reporting deadlines are met within the required timeframe (quarterly report, financial reports and self-assessments); facilitate  annual data review process with GaFCP, the governing body; facilitate data driven community needs assessment to develop appropriate strategies to achieve the desired outcome resulting in the annual plan.
  • Coordinate meetings, coalitions and events to support desired outcomes identified as priorities in the annual plan. Lead monthly executive committee and Hart Partner Board meetings to address progress, problems, reports and status of financial, planning and accountability responsibilities. 
  • Utilizing media resources and informational platforms, keep Hart Partners Board/Family Connection, key stakeholders, community groups and members to ensure the dissemination of information addressing the state of families and children in our community.
  • Maintain official records and meeting minutes.
  • Participating in regional meetings, conferences and professional development training.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (psychology, social work or closely related field) or at least four years’ experience in human services or a community-based program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication and community-centered leadership skills.
  • Possess a valid drivers license and maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
  • Applicant must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Skills:
Budget and expenditure reporting, grant writing and data analysis, community organizing and coalition building, public speaking and presentation, experience in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
 
Ability and Personal Attributes: 
Ethical, trustworthy, and culturally respectful, self-motivated and result oriented, strong interpersonal skills with diverse community stakeholders; ability to work independently and with teams.
