Cars & Guitars Festival Brings Out the Best in Hart County
The Cars & Guitars Festival car show finally had its day on Saturday, September 5th, and the sweltering heat definitely kept some folks away. The show was originally scheduled for Memorial Day weekend back in May, but rain forced a reschedule. As it turns out, most car owners will take a heat wave over a rainy day any time, and heat is exactly what they got. Heat indexes climbed to 106 degrees at the peak of the afternoon, and turnout was down at least 50 cars from a normal year. Still, over 100 vehicles
